After a dance class this morning, I stopped by Cafe Tola to grab some empanadas for my husband and ended up trying their horchata latte, which was fantastic. I sampled several empanadas, including guava & cheese, chicken tinga, birria & queso, and beef sirloin-my husband especially enjoyed the birria & queso for its rich flavor. The cafe's bright, colorful atmosphere and friendly staff made the experience even better, though the empanadas are a bit pricey; still, the quality and variety keep me coming back.
