Avoid this place! Dishonest people! As a first time customer I was very disappointed. The red pozole was bland and the flavors were not blended in well. It had no body. It's as if the meat was cooked apart and not left to simmer along with the rest of the ingredients. Plus the gallon comes with very little add ons like radishes, cabbage or limes. One lime per gallon is there policy! Pozole is my favorite dish but it is rare to find home cooked quality at a restaurant. I thought a restaurant with pozole in its name might be different. I was very wrong. I ordered through doordash but before placing the order I personally called the restaurant and asked how it came prepared. The lady said it came with 6 tostadas, limes, radishes, onions, lettuce and an avocado. I asked if she could include extra limes, radishes, cabagge instead of lettuce and very little onions. She happily said it would be no problem and would make sure of it. The gallon arrived with a small fist of cabbage, half a fist of radishes, 3 limes, 3 tostadas, a small avacado and about two large fistfuls of chopped onion. When I called back and asked why there was so little radishes and cabbage she said that is the portion they give per gallon and that they did give me 2 extra limes. I asked her why she had lied and had assured me she would make sure more radishes and cabbage would be included. I told her she just could have been honest and said no and if I had needed to pay extra I would have. Regarding the tostadas she said she would talk with the cook. That does not help the fact that I received only 3. Needless to say I will not be going back and will never recommend this place. If you are a fan of pozole go somewhere else.
