Horrible customer service. They update their prices in their computer system but don’t update their menus. Had a situation where I ordered a small beef rib tips and a 1/2 smoked chicken. Total based on board would be 12.99 each. $26 plus tax should be about $28. The server told me $31, $32. I said it can’t be right based on the prices on their board. She told me that is what the system said because their prices changed and can’t do anything about it. I asked to speak a manager (someone with a name started with “D”) and I think what was very unnerving was that he said that the customer is not always right in this case and they just hadn’t had a chance to update their prices because the change happened earlier in the day and wouldn’t honor what their board said.
If my family didn’t really like the food, I would have left. I understand COVID but the customer should not have to pay for their irresponsibility in lack of updating prices. I want to make sure everyone knows that they need to ask what the prices are before ordering.
