In Waukegan, the cleanliness of this family-owned eatery stands out, especially compared to similar establishments in Philadelphia, thanks to strict food inspection standards. The service is friendly, the portions are generous, and while the atmosphere could use some updates, the authentic flavors and reasonable prices make it a worthwhile dining experience.

Found out this place is close to me. Tues is chicken soup day and I had some. Best chicken soup in 59 states. Pork w liver was fantastic. Pig ear was a little chewy but delicious
