I noticed they don’t have customer base like other breakfast places in the area, so i decided to stop in. one table of 2 outside and a table of 3 inside on a sunday morning?? i ordered the pancakes and they were light fluffy and enjoyable. potatoes soggy, steamed, not crispy— bummer. my black coffee tasted like there was black tea in it, weird so i asked for a different cup and was the same. the waitress said maybe they forgot to rinse the pots again!! ooooKAY! i began to see why the place is deserted… Spent some time taking in the environment: staff was commiserating behind the counter, floor was dirty didn’t look like it was cleaned properly in quite a while, using same dirty rag on table cleaning. overall a “meh” experience. got a cookie to go and when i was eating it later, found a cockroach cooked into it! OMGGGG!!! threw that cookie outside sooo fast! i have seen this in other reviews and ok i get it. Courageous is supposed to known first and foremost for their bakery. Sorry, i wanted to like this place, quiet on a sunday, but NO THANKS. NO CAN DO.
