Having lived in Japan, I've made it a mission to try as many hibachi spots in Chicago as I can, and Sumo stands out with its fresh, delicious food and friendly, attentive service. The vibe is relaxed and chill, perfect for a casual date or hanging out with friends, plus they offer BYOB without any extra fees. Whether it's the perfectly seasoned steak, the fresh sushi served on cute boats, or the flavorful seafood udon, every meal has been consistently awesome, and I keep coming back for more.
