My partner is a huge fan of this cozy little cafe where he used to bring his colleagues from his fire protection engineering job at the Seneca, even his boss. The $4.99 hamburger he had every day for lunch was always fresh, handcrafted, and cooked just right, which was surprising given its location. The owner is super friendly and remembers him and his crew, even though they now work at the Aon Center, they still make the trek to Chestnut Street Cafe on Fridays for lunch. The French Quarter breakfast sandwich is a game-changer - a massive croissant filled with thinly sliced ham, scrambled eggs, and loads of Swiss cheese - it's a must-try!
