Excellent food

After reading many reviews, I finally made it there for a try walking away both delighted .. and disappointed. In a nutshell, while the food and service are good, it's overpriced. At first glance , the prices look reasonable, but they really not, for what you actually get. First, the oyster prices on their website is lower than what they are when you arrive. Second, if you want bread, you have to buy it at $1.00 a toasted piece, nothing on it, no sauce, hard butter. Delicious toast? Yes. $1.00 a slice ,no way. The oyster were fresh. The Caesar salad, good portion and fresh. While the main courses were delicious, they were paltry with no side accompaniment... not a stick of asparagus, or a dab of potato. We ordered a side of fries , never figuring we would eat them all because we were still hungry after the oyster, bread, and fish.
Net/net, with two wine drinks, 6 oyster, 1/2 salad, 1 piece of toasted bread, 1ala Carte small piece of fish, a shared dessert.. with a tip it was $100.00 and we walked away hungry
