The fried chicken, sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese, greens, and cornbread hit all the right notes with flavors that took me straight to grandma's kitchen, and the food was ready in about 20 minutes-perfect timing to grab a beer next door while waiting. The portions are generous, prices beat most chains, and the vibe feels like a warm church basement cookout where every bite tastes like love and nostalgia.

Upon entering Rasheedah's Cafe, I was enveloped in a cozy, inviting atmosphere that felt like home. The soul food offerings were top tier, with dishes like fried chicken, sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and cornbread hitting all the right spots. The wait was a bit confusing, but the delicious food served on real plates by Rasheeda made it well worth it.
