There's a charming little coffee cafe inside the Brainard Office building lobby that's perfect for grabbing a fresh cup or a quick breakfast like bagels, salads, or their popular soups and sandwiches. The owner knows his coffee, offering local roasts, a variety of flavored beans, and even freshly made frozen frappes and smoothies with real fruit, all at prices that beat the big chains. It's a clean, bright spot with friendly service where you can enjoy your drink without the rush, and I've found myself coming back again and again.
