Absolutely fantastic experience at Hyde Park. If you are into steakhouses, you will love this place!!! From food to service (kudos to our server - Chris) to ambiance, absolutely fantastic. There was 7 of us and each of us ordered something different so we got to try many different things. Appetizers - Wagyu Carpaccio and Ahi Tuna (which in my opinion is probably one of the best in the city!). Main courses are typical steakhouse treat (filet mignon, ribeye, lamb chops - all were great!), fish was average (this was the only hiccup of the evening, but again, you go to steakhouses for steak, not fish). Desserts were fantastic (flaming butter cake) and creme brulee. And they had a decaf cappuccino, which very few restaurants in the city do. Loved our experience, these guys know what they are doing I visit Hyde Park often and have never been disappointed. The food and cocktails are always spot on. I've even stopped in for happy hour and the prices are great. Petite Twin Filet Mignon 6 oz. Is the best choice/value for happy hour. It's on the early nights three course menu NOT the happy hour menu, be sure to ask for that menu which is available for happy hour! I took my wife, daughter and her husband to the Beachwood Hyde Park Steakhouse on Friday. We had reservation and were a little early but were seated right away. I don't get. We had beer and wine with shrimp cocktail for appetizers. The beer was served in frosted Pilsner glasses. They must have noticed us toasting my daughter for birthday and asked if we were celebrating a birthday My daughter and wife had two early special filet Mignon with soup and mash potatoes. They enjoyed and my wife like her Lobster Bisque soup I had the 14 oz Ribeye with horseradish sauce, cooked medium as requested . Very nice piece. My son in law got the 22. Oz Bone in Rib-eye which look great We order the Lobster Mac But with onion rings and bread we did not touch They sent us complimentary deserts for her Birthday. The Bananas Foster was excellent and well presented Great service by all and real steakhouse ambience. Not cheap, but great place for special event My former 4 star review doesn't do justice to how amazing and consistent the food and the service are at Hyde Park! The place is beautiful, not as modern as some of its main steakhouse competitors, but Hyde Park has (from far) the best and freshest seafood I've found in Cleveland (especially the oysters, my god, how we love their oysters), great steaks and delicious sides (the lobster mac and cheese is to die for, but the bacon Brussels sprouts and the Gruyí¨re au grautin potatoes are also soooo good), and my favorite smoked old fashioned in the whole greater Cleveland. We've come back so many times and there has not been a single time where Hyde Park has not excelled both in terms of food and service. Don't overthink it, if you go to Hyde Park you'll be guaranteed an amazing experience every single time! My wife and I went for the early dinner specials on May 3. The lobster bisque was exceptional. We both got the twin filet mignon steaks which were perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only surprise was that a few of the customers were way underdressed for such an elegant setting. Bad service may be a common inconvenience elsewhere, but at Hyde Park Beachwood the staff is as attentive (if not, more) as it was before March of 2020. Maitre d' Gwendolyn was incredibly accommodating when we visited this evening. Clarence was one of our servers, and he was outstanding. I've had some unfortunate dining experiences of late. Dinner at Hyde Park tonight was a great reminder that fantastic service still exists. Absolutely love the Hyde Park cheeseburger, alway cooked to perfection and served piping hot. Early bird special surf and turf is excellent . Also available all day on Sunday !!!! I had the New York strip rare. It was perfectly cooked to order. I st in the bar tonight which was very busy, but the weight staff found a table for me. All in all the experience was exceptional with high quality food and excellent service. 8 family members celebrated the grandsons birthday in fine fashion. The food was excellent as usual. Our waiter Jeffery made the celebration special with little extras above and beyond the normal. Everyone loved the food ambiance and Jeffrey's special treatment. Thanks for a wonderful evening I love Hyde Park, I used to go to the one downtown Cleveland, this was my first time at this location. The food and cocktails were as good as I expected. The staff was very friendly.
