I purchased a turkey sub from this restaurant and became terribly ill as a result. I called the next day (after being up the entire night) to inform the manager that apparently something on the sandwich was spoiled because I got very sick with vomiting and diarrhea. The person who identified who herself as the manager, was very very rude and unprofessional. She told me that she couldn't do anything about my getting sick and really didn't care and that I could call corporate headquarters to complain. I asked her name and she said she didn't have to give it to me (which was true) and again that she really didn't care about my getting sick. I told her that I worked for a law firm here in the city and that channel 8 news would probably be interested in their using spoiled food and the hygiene of the workers in the store (the guy who waited on me blew into the plastic gloves to open them - thus blowing on the clean glove after opening the first. She told me very belligerently that she didn't care where I worked, who I called or that I had gotten sick. She was a real poor excuse for a "manager" and who ever the store owner is should really discuss proper work ethics with her. I certainly hope that she did not speak to me in this derogatory manner because of my race - that would be a real pity.
