Staying in Denver would have meant settling for mediocre dining, but a friend's suggestion led us north to experience an incredible meal that made the hour-long drive worthwhile. The smoked prime rib was fantastic, the atmosphere welcoming, and the generous portions paired with reasonable prices guarantee that I'll be returning soon.

If you are looking for frills or a place to sip coffee with your pinky pointing towards the next table of pretentious urbanites....this place is definitely going to disappoint. If you are looking for a traditional rural Cafe with the comfortably unchanging warmth and friendliness of the folks that live in such places....you will love Dillard's. I found the food to be fresh, well-seasoned and perfectly cooked. The service made you feel like a guest in a family home. I plan on returning whenever possible.
