We called ahead for takeout on a soup kind of day and enjoyed freshly prepared wonton and egg flower soups with authentic flavors that remind me of classic Chinese cooking from back in the day. The portions were generous, the service friendly even late close, and the variety from spicy Szechwan pork to chicken chow mein kept us coming back, plus the cozy patio by the Animas River is a great bonus.

We placed an order for takeout and the food was freshly made. The traditional Chinese dishes we ordered, like wonton soup and egg flower soup, had excellent flavor and consistency. Despite the busy atmosphere, the service was efficient and the portion sizes were generous.

Pity I have to give this rest. 1 star - it deserves negative stars. Food terrible, everything is very sweet with no fresh flavor. Mu Shu Pork & Chop Suey was so sweet, could not eat. Potstickers hard and cold. Called in order for pick up. China Cafe said food ready in 35 mins. Was there in 40 mins., had to wait over 20 minutes while they cooked my order. Manager had major attitude. Go to Mongolian Grill (by Walmart) if you want quick, clean service & delicious food!
