Great breakfast place. Will be back.

review_stars 03/01/2021 - Nikki Swen
Very nice place to eat. Nice people, family owned, family recipes. The only bad thing is the virus limits seating and you might have to wait a few minutes because this place is popular all the time

review_stars 10/26/2020 - Safe and OPEN
Love the safe dining, and great people to make our meal nice. Keep up the great work!

review_stars 04/28/2020 - Yes, you are gonna open!
Glad to hear that you are going to reopen soon. Can't wait for that!

review_stars 04/19/2020 - Sad
We wish you were open... sorry this happened and we wish you the best when all of this is over. WE LOVE THE HAPPY COOKER

review_stars 01/10/2020 - MenuPix User
Very good breakfast, just like Mom used to make us on Saturday morning. Good sized portions. Nice people and family owned. We will come back again.

Yum

review_stars 09/05/2019 - Gail Simmons
I don't know what people are fussing about on other review sites. They complain about the smallest things that have nothing to do with this restaurant. The Happy Cooker is nice, good food, good people, family dining. And the prices are the best in Georgetown. Don't listen to the trolls, they are not local and need to chill out

review_stars 08/01/2019 - Stan B.
Good food, nice people. It gets so busy at lunch, you might have to wait a little. But that's because its so popular and the food is so good.

review_stars 07/22/2019 - MenuPix User
Very busy, slower service

review_stars 07/08/2019 - Helen Chavez
The service was a little slow because they were so busy. Glad we waited, the food was very good. This is the popular place to eat in Georgetown. Try to get a table on the patio it is beautiful

review_stars 06/27/2019 - Meatloaf mountain
Is it a sandwich? Or? Don't know but it was awesome

review_stars 06/19/2019 - Stephanie
The triple cheese grilled cheese sandwich is to die for. We got a beer bucket with five beers for $10. Nice patio

review_stars 06/15/2019 - MenuPix User
The patio is great and you can bring your dog. They even give your dog water and a treat. The food is very good and it is just a happy place to be.

review_stars 06/02/2019 - Mustang Club
We had a Mustang Club rally in Georgetown. Parked in front of the restaurant. They had $10 buckets of beer for us. Great food. They really took care of us. Thanks

review_stars 05/12/2019 - MenuPix User
Good for lunch, best prices in town. They have new menu items like the meatloaf mountain which is really really good and a lot of food. We will come back again when the weather is great and we can be on the patio outside.

review_stars 04/02/2019 - Debbie P
Great breakfast and very nice people

review_stars 03/16/2019 - MenuPix User
Good breakfast for the price

review_stars 02/02/2019 - Roger
Good solid place to eat. Always have a full plate and never leave hungry. Best price in town

review_stars 01/20/2019 - PZ
Pitas are the bestest ever. Turkey and veggie together, and had it like a philly with gouda. Almost to much to eat

review_stars 01/08/2019 - Sam Cerro
Good service and nice people. The menu has lots to chose from. Its all really good.

review_stars 12/26/2018 - Susan Reyes

review_stars 12/10/2018 - Santa C.

review_stars 11/30/2018 - MenuPix User
Good breakfast at a good price, will come back

review_stars 11/17/2018 - Jason M.
Awesome breakfast. My burrito was the size of a football, and the green chili was tasty.

review_stars 10/31/2018 - MenuPix User
They were closed for renovations, bummer

review_stars 09/23/2018 - Kathy & Shane
Very crowded, so we thought it must be good. The patio is awesome, the place is cute. Had the Pita and was perfect. Beer is only $3 a bottle, best price around so we had a couple :-)

review_stars 09/18/2018 - Marsha R.
Good food, service was slow

review_stars 09/03/2018 - Marty Becham
Very nice place, beautiful patio with mountain views, shade trees and historic setting. The family that owns the Happy Cooker really cares about their customers. The owner came and talked to us, he was interested in our overall experience. Nice to see such care for customers. We will come again for the food and ambiance.

review_stars 08/17/2018 - Nice place to eat
Good food, but a wait line, so it must be good

review_stars 07/21/2018 - Chase
Great restaurant. Patio is awesome. WAFFLES rock

review_stars 07/06/2018 - Cindi Warren
Really surprised by this place. We were there for the train, and wanted to eat lunch after. Someone told us to go to the Happy Cooker. Glad we did, great food and nice atmosphere.

review_stars 06/04/2018 - Loco One
Choo choo, mmmmmmmm good. Train ride and lunch at the Cooker. Happy Happy Happy

review_stars 05/19/2018 - Harry TK
The restaurant is very quaint inside, like a throwback to the 1970's. The music was nice, people were friendly, service was very good. The food was plentiful and very fresh. Loved the turkey BLAT. My friend had the Chicken gouda sandwich and she loved it. We will stop by here again next time we had up to the mountains from Denver.

review_stars 05/13/2018 - Mom
Wonderful Mothers Day, crab cake benedicts were awesome.

Waffles with fruit are wonderful. This is a hidden gem in Georgetown. A must try for breakfast. We will visit here more often now that winter is coming to an end.

review_stars 04/22/2018 - Gayle Samuels
My salad was good, could have had more crisp lettuce but it was still really good. The meatloaf sandwich was excellent, and my husband love the grill chicken pita. The beers are really cheap, like 3 dollars a beer, how do they make any money. We will go back here and there are so many menu items we want to try. Everything looks so good.

review_stars 04/14/2018 - Audrey S.
BACON, BACON, BACON. To die for. This place makes homemade the best. We love it here and try to have breakfast at least once a month. Cute setting, great service and people. Happy for sure.

review_stars 03/01/2018 - Judy Carter
Wow, really great place to eat and bring the family.

review_stars 02/18/2018 - Mtn Hi
Good, but too much food for one person.

review_stars 02/11/2018 - Dan Parker
Saw on Google that the benedicts were good, and they were right. Best benedicts I have ever had, even better than the ones I am used to in New York.

review_stars 02/05/2018 - Mary Dawson
Was good we liked the pitas. would order breakfast later next time

review_stars 02/02/2018 - B. Thane
Groundhog Day Specials, great food

review_stars 01/28/2018 - P Hagen
The meatloaf sandwich is incredible. The people working there were friendly and HAPPY

review_stars 01/22/2018 - BigRig
Great breakfast, so much to eat. Waffles are plenty, but the cinnamon roll is HUGE. Coffee is the best I have had in a while. Stopped by on our way up to ski and glad we did.

review_stars 01/17/2018 - James Domingo
Really nice place with a home style feel. The salad was amazing with fresh fruit and nuts and my wife loved her bowl of green chili with home made jalapeño bread. The prices are great and everything is less than 10 dollars a meal. There is not a better place in Georgetown.

Good eats

review_stars 12/31/2017 - Seb
Yum, happy breakfst

review_stars 12/22/2017 - Kelly Condiff
The time to get our meal was about 15 minutes. Not bad, but its always so busy here because of its popularity and good food. Everyone wants to eat lunch here and the other restaurants are not that good and cost a lot more.

review_stars 12/21/2017 - Rebecca Cowens
Nice place to spend some time and good food. Our family was HAPPY

review_stars 12/11/2017 - Megyn
Beautiful Christmas Market, loved the Happy Cooker, great food and our family loved the ambiance of the restaurant.

review_stars 12/03/2017 - Vince
Best food at the Christmas market. Very nice and nostalgic restaurant. They are family owned and operated, that is a plus for us. And the servers were really nice and attentive. We will be back next time we come to Georgetown.

review_stars 11/27/2017 - Brian M.
Good breakfast

review_stars 11/19/2017 - Share Bear
Do the breakfast specials, they are almost half the price and you get a lot of food. They also had beer specials and gave us Fat Tires for $1.50 each. Never seen that before. We will go back again on the weekends

review_stars 11/12/2017 - PPB
Awesome breakfasts

review_stars 10/31/2017 - Collin S.
Had waffles yesterday with butter, strawberries and whip cream. They say they specialize in waffles, and they have lot's of options and fruit to choose from. They are the best waffles I have ever had for sure.

review_stars 10/21/2017 - Mike Murphey
Good food and good prices

review_stars 10/14/2017 - Buff2
This is a nice place to eat and the food servings are just right if you are hungry. Meatloaf sandwich was very good and the waitress we had was excellent. They have different beers for the season so we tried the Moose Porter and it was ice cold. Its nice that they match beers to the season and the food. The only thing I would change is to have some sort of snack while you wait for your order to be served. Other than that I recommend the Happy Cooker.

review_stars 10/11/2017 - Peter Bowling
Great breakfast and plenty to eat. We especially liked the benedicts which were some of the best we have ever had. Don't know how they made them, but these were high end benedicts like you get in an upscale restaurant. But not at that price. Our waitress was very good too and she was always checking on us to make sure we were happy. Yes to the happy cooker, we will come back during our ski trips this winter.

review_stars 10/03/2017 - DAB
Had the green chili, really good. Had bread, no tortillas, but that was ok. Took a quart to go.

review_stars 09/24/2017 - Allison Bancroft
The cinnamon roll is huge, smothered in strawberries. The coffee is very good too.

review_stars 09/24/2017 - Mike C.
Good food, and plenty to eat. Wish they had french fries.

review_stars 09/21/2017 - Saint
Went to see the beautiful change of season. The aspens on Guanella Pass are incredible. Went to lunch at the Happy Cooker and what a surprise. Salmon burger was great, my friend loved the meatloaf sandwich. Obviously a favorite place to eat as the place was crowded, we waited for a patio table and it was worth it. Will return again!

review_stars 09/20/2017 - Pub
Saw the new menu here. Try the vegetarian chili, really good with the jalapeño bread.

review_stars 09/14/2017 - Pam T.
Good food, good price.

review_stars 09/05/2017 - Rock3
Busy Labor Day, but the Cooker was rocking! We had the meatloaf sandwich, and it was awesome. The Coors beers are great too! We will be back.

review_stars 09/03/2017 - VooDoo
What a cool place, downtown in the historic district of Georgetown. A great patio, that even allows pets! The food is awesome, try the chicken & gouda sandwich. Prices are just right, and beer is only $3 a bottle, best price in town!

review_stars 05/25/2014 - Snow
The food is not cooked well and the service was terrible. I will not go back there.

review_stars 12/16/2012 - Arnie Adler
