I first discovered this place when I was living in Columbia, MO in the 1990's. Although we live in Illinois now, my wife and I go out of our way to pass through at least once a year. The food is exceptional. The menu is on a board and changes daily. I don't think we have ever had the same meal, but we have always had a good one.

This is a husband and wife team and they are culinary artists. If you are a fan of chain restaurants, please stay away. This is high class food for very reasonable prices. If you find yourself traveling around HWY 70 through mid Missouri you need to make reservations and try this place. It is well worth the side trip.

Incredibly good food - original combinations sure to please any tastebuds. Small staff, friendly. Themed decor: 1) bikes etc.,
2) wine etc. Go out of your way if you need to, but go!
