Hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. I moved away 20+ years ago, have lived in 4 different states, and have not found a better place to eat. Windward Passage is the first stop on my list when we come to Columbus to visit family. I can never decide what to order because everything is amazing. For the record, I agree that people who voluntarily eat at Texas Roadhouse should stick with Texas Roadhouse. This place is not for those who prize generic food and atmosphere.

This place is one of the best kept secrets in Columbus. Fantastic seafood, steaks, and ribs. We love this place.

We have been going to Windward Passage for about 30 years and it has never disappointed. They have excellent seafood and steaks. Everything on the menu is fantastic. Waitresses are friendly and efficient. They have the best liver and onions and oysters, too. Open for lunch M-F and evenings. Closed Sunday.

People who will eat at Texas Roadhouse should skip this restaurant with real, fresh food. No one is rude, you just are treated as of equal importance to everyone else waiting for a table.

My 93 year old mother, my 50 year old son and my 73 year old self when to Windward today for lunch. It was absolutely fabulous. We were promptly seated the atmosphere was perfect and our waitress was prompt and really nice. My mother and I got the fried oysters and my son got the Reuben sandwich. My son made the comment that this was the best Reuben you had for a long time and they use the kind of Rye bread that he liked best. The oysters were absolutely perfect. They were delicious. Everything was fantastic. We got there about 1:30 in the afternoon which was great because we were seated promptly as I mentioned above. I don't know what else to say about Windward. I would give them a hundred plus Stars if I could. You will not be disappointed. Absolutely, and I mean absolutely loved everything that we had today.

LOVE THE FOOD! The food is ALWAYS delicious, fresh and the prices are reasonable. Great tasting lunch specials every day and the prices can not be beat.

I wanted to try this place for my birthday with my family because I had heard what a great place it is. WRONG!!! It is a nightmare! The person at the front desk was rude and very sloppy! I don't mind waiting for a table on a Friday night because it is a busy time but she had no personality! At that point I should have left and gone to the Texas Roadhouse up the road! Next we finally got seated! With miss sour puss! We ordered drinks and I asked for a glass of wine,my son ordered a beer and my granddaughter who is 12 ordered sprite! What she got was a gin and tonic! Of course they could not say that is what it was or they would have lost their liquor license! But her dad and I both tasted it! Not sprite! We got a new waitress because she said she couldn't wait on us because we were upset with her! Yes! Sot he next lady tried but she wasn't exactly thrilled to take on an extra table! We ordered food which was good! I must admit the food was good! Not exceptional for the price but good! I will not go back and will not recommend it to anyone! Get rid of the manager and get staff that want to make the eating out fun and enjoyable. Needs a lot of work. Please find another place to eat! OMG a Birthday dinner I will never forget! I rate a -10 but had to put a star rating. If people don't go maybe they will get a clue and become a patron friend place to eat!
