I went here for the first time, recently The food was very good, staff was nice and friendly I left with a smile on my face!! I went alone and felt very comfortable there!.

I would have to agree with Jake's view.
Too bad you don't frequent the place often most times the prices are up or down. Many times I went in for certain things the prices would be $6 the next day they were $9 for the same order. for instance a gentleman went in there for bacon eggs coffee home fries they charged him 10 bucks they charged me 14 so days later I went back in I ordered what the same gentleman ordered because he's there every day his bill was 10 bucks mine was $15 I told waitress the issue I had. if I can't get it for the same price this gentleman got it for I'm walking out and they gave it to me for the same price..
What new people do not know is that the woman, Chris, the cook, the owner! She is a very nice person. It's her male companion that has the bad chip on his shoulder they lost many of waitresses because of his rude remarks to them most of them end up at American diner in Plainfield and frequent places around the neighborhood.
It's hard for her to find help! they have people in the neighborhood filling in because no one wants to work with her male companion.
All he does is sit down at that diner talk with certain people about other people in the neighborhood if you hung there every day you would know what I'm talking about. because I know people that hang their everyday and are very disgusted with him. Because many people are in walking distance can't travel to other places.
Just frequent other places you'll find the same waitresses that worked at Danny's Depot they'll tell you.
Other than that Chris is a great person her food is delicious; people wish she tell him to move on.

Great prices and great food! Relaxed environment, very friendly and owned by people that were raised in town!
