I really enjoy the food this place makes and love to support small businesses but I can no longer let go how incredibly rude and sexist the cook/ owner is..

He should stay in the kitchen where he belongs.

Good luck eggs and co. You've lost a good customer because you keep your cook in the back where he belongs.

Owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. Throughout the 45 minutes that we were there having lunch as a family, he continually barraged us with his unsolicited opinions about covid and the government.

He seemed to get angrier and louder the more we disagreed with him. When we finally told him that we were done discussing this with him, he yelled have a nice day and stormed off. This is not the place to go if you wanna have a nice quiet enjoyable lunch with your family.

When we arrived, the owner immediately was snarky because we were wearing masks. We let it slide and ordered our food, which was very good.

However as we were finishing our meal, he engaged us again, and insisted that “this is not a pandemic,” and that if “they lock us down again, there will be a civil war,” adding that “This is America and we are not prisoners.”

We responded by saying that wearing a mask does not make you a prisoner, and that unfortunately, masks and vaccinations are what will help us get through the pandemic.

He then escalated and began yelling at us, again insisting that this was not a pandemic and that more people are dying in spite of masks and vaccines. We pointed out that his numbers were inaccurate, and that he should read the CDC site instead of Breitbart.

He claimed he lost $450,000 due to the last lockdown, and repeated that “This is America, etc.

In spite of how good the food was, I wish his rant occurred a half hour earlier so that we could have left without giving him a dime of our money.

After reading several of the other reviews left by other customers, apparently this is just his pattern of behavior. Maybe it’s not the lock down that cost him $450,000, but his confrontational and classless attitude.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but as a business owner, you should try to nurture your business by not harassing and arguing with customers, especially when it comes to politics and other contentious subjects. In one fell swoop, this person took what could’ve been a nice dining experience and turned it into three people that will never dine at his establishment again.

He was correct about one thing. This Is America, and we have the right to patronize a business that is not run by a hostile animal.

I gave the wrong rating, it should be a 10 but they only go up to five!

Food is okay. A bit over proceed but what bothers me most is the fact that employees and even the owner at times had no mask on. Delivering good to the table without a mask with Covid spreading like wild fire again? Makes no sense to me. Please respect that we are in a world pandemic!

Awesome Food! I don't eat out a lot for breakfast or lunch, but when I do this is my go to place. The owners are friendly and make sure your food is what you expected. If it is not right, they will fix it. They also make special accommodations for my picky eaters. My favorite is the chicken salad. They don't make it everyday so get it when you can. My kids love the pancakes (with whip cream), burgers and firehouse chicken sandwiches. You cant go wrong with anything on this extensive menu.
