Sounds like outrageous prices for small portions. Who would actually pay for the house water and bread on the table? There are many restaurants in the area that have delicious food and you don't pay for water and bread! Norwalk doesn't need this restaurant.

Appetizers were adequate and delicious. However, after receiving the bill and noting the charge for STILL water and 2 small loaves of bread with Olive tapanade, I felt completely taken advantage of.
The charge was 12.00 for both. I don't believe that there is an establishment in Fairfield County that charges for either. The manager when questioned was rude and claimed that it is on the menu! How ridiculous! Who would ever think to look at a menu for these charges?

Really sad to see what happened to the once great Pasta Nostra experience.

Went to Brucilino this past week- end with my son and daughter in law and husband. First of all , they don't put water on the table- they ask if you want water- and then they charge you $3.00 a person for their own water. They also charge you $7.00 for bread- which is the size of two dinner rolls!!!! That is unheard of!
I ordered a veal chop- which was all bone and fat! My son and I ordered a side order of Pasta- which literally was about ten strands of pasta- for ten dollars!!!
They seem to be price gouging - and we certainly will NEVER- go back there again. I imagine if this persists , either a. - they will go out of business fairly quickly or b. They will stop charging for bread and water, and increase their side dish portion size- so they will be able to stay in business!!!!
