I was young when Ground Round opened in Groton, on the day my Mother and Father decided we were going for dinner, we pulled into the parking lot and was told they had to close because some people got shot inside, we left and went to Bonanza. The motto of ground round used to be "eat drink and be merry", from that point my mother used to say, go to ground round to eat drink and get shot up, she would never take us, I joined the military and never made it to ground round, but I am coming to Mystic in June of 2020 and I will make it.
