I love Taco Rico's first time I ate at this place the location and the looks from the outside are a bit not interesting..but once you get inside you see his employees and you already know your getting a home cooked meal tortillas are being made idk of it's his grandma mom and tias doing all the serving and cooking..rico and idk of its his brother are helping keep business going they are the ones running back and forth getting it..what surprised me is they are only open 8 hrs a day Sun-Saturday 6am-2pm I wanted to take my girlfriend at the time to try it after we both got of work that day and was amazed to see they only stay open so 8hrs but yet in my opinion they sale the best tacos and and food in the corpus area..sorry chachos but in my opinion taco Rico's is the best tacos in corpus Christi texas ..y'all should try the taco de lengua (cow tongue slow roasted in a gravy) like carne guesada was my all time favorite but the egg with bbq sausage and the onions and bell pepper with the salsa they make go hard asf..dnt be surprised when u go and have to wait in a line Cuz there is like 4-5 tables that only sit 1-2 people it's more of a order and go place located on the corner a green wood and Horne a little red and white looking building y'all guys have to give it a try..Mike S Driscoll tx thank you guys at taco Rico's
