Wanted cookies but was confronted with several politicaly geared treats. Like wtf. Cookies were ok as a taste but turned off by atmosphere.

TLDR; don’t waste your time with Taste E's Sweet's and Treat's

I never, ever, want to make bad reviews. Especially when it’s a “small shop” and part of our small town so this kills me. But y’all I’m so pissed off at this point... over flipping cookies. Taste E's Sweet's and Treat's came highly recommended and I’ve had several friends use her so I thought we had planned out the perfect treat for my daughters first class Valentine’s Day party. I reached out to her and she said she would “totally do it”. After she became slow in response, I reached out in a few groups to find other options and again was sent back to her. The person recommending her said she would reach out to her and like clock work, she started responding again. Only to ghost on me when I tried finding out where I was supposed to pick up my order yesterday for this mornings class.

All of my messages were respectful and only asking for an update. Last night when I stated that I was taking the hint that she wasn’t going to fulfill my order, I at least expected some type of apology or explanation. I gave the benefit of a doubt and still didn’t want to publicly drag her name. That’s since changed after her true colors have shown and I’m truly mortified. I noticed that she finally read my message but when I went to her profile, I was blocked. I went to another account of mine to see if I was really blocked or what had happened when I noticed she had posted on her IG stories a snarky post that I’m sure had to do with me and honestly other customers as well. A simple picture that said “boy, bye.” Regardless of if it was directed at me or not, a business account should never act in such a manner. Naturally I commented on her newest post to at least show that I knew what she had done. And again, blocked and deleted.

I know it’s “just a cookie order” but it’s the principle. You don’t take someone’s business and then bail on them. If you are too slammed to take on business, don’t take it on. If something comes up, be honest and say you can’t fulfill the order. Don’t ghost on customers! This is a legit business, not selling lemonade on the corner.

Because I want to be as transparent as possible, I’m including all of my conversations with her to show that nothing I said should have warranted being blocked.

Since my Initial post, she has come back and stated that she cancelled my order because I didn’t pay an invoice. The problem is, she never sent said invoice nor did she ever mention sending one. I’ve never avoid paying an invoice or tried to skip out on payments. That’s not who I am. She was given a chance to provide proof of the invoice and she refuses. The Wylie, TX page even shut down my post until she was able to join the group to defend herself and she again declined. She had several customers state how great she was so my hope is that she takes this is a learning experience, and possibly apologizes to me. I only want to give other people a heads up as this is something I wish I would be known up.
