My go-to here is definitely the "Banh Pí¢tí© So," Vietnamese French pastries filled with a variety of meat options including chicken, pork, beef, and curry beef. I prefer the pork and beef selections as they make for delicious appetizers with their flaky croissant-like breading. These pastries are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven, but still maintain their great taste when reheated in the microwave or oven. Priced at around $1 each, they are a satisfying snack that can keep you full for a couple of hours. Additionally, their Vietnamese sandwiches, rice cakes, and egg rolls make for decent appetizer options as well.
