While visiting Texas, I surprised my mom with Somali cuisine for the first time at Cafe Medina, where the warm hospitality and perfectly seasoned chicken and sambusas made the experience unforgettable. The intimate setting and fast, friendly service only added to the delicious, home-cooked flavors that have me eager to return soon.

While in Texas, I discovered Cafe Medina, a small yet inviting Somalian restaurant. I decided to surprise my mom with a visit as she had never tried Somalian cuisine before. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the half-chicken with rice and vegetables, along with chicken and beef sambusas. The flavors were amazing, and we look forward to returning in the future.
