Okay, this is really only a three star place with (mostly) three star food....BUT, I cut a place some slack when it's a 'buffet'. I don't expect the kind of service I would from a 'fine dining' establishment. Is the chicken-fried steak as good as a 'home cooking' place, or the Mexican food as good as a Mexican food restaurant? OF COURSE NOT....BUT, that having been said, I found LOTS of choices that were very well made, and got my money's worth several times over.

I've seen lots of reviews on Palamino's Ranch Buffet on this and other sites, and you should notice that some people LOVE the ribs, and some people HATE them...and they're BOTH right: You'll love some items and others, not so much. It's WELL worth the trip.

This place was good a couple of years ago, but my latest visit was very diappointing. Food seemed as if it were sitting out for hours. The pizza, corn bread, rolls were hard and unedible. The ribs were just hard and tasteless. The chicken fried steak was i don't know what kind of meat, but absolutely gross. The food was just bad.
This will be my last visit there ever. Don't waste your money there! This place is usually full and there weren't any people there, so that should have been my first clue. I'd be surprised if this place lasts much longer.
