My daughter was married at this location on 9/26/2009 and it was absolutely beautiful! I have read some previously written reviews that were not very complimentary and I am totally shocked by their opinions. I could not have asked for better service. Mona was amazing and so willing to help at every opportunity. She is the facility manager, however she is not the brides personal coordinator, so if you should need one for the day, I would recommend hiring one. Stephanie Golightly was our florist and coordinator and she took care of everything for a very reasonable price. All we had to do was show up and enjoy the wedding. Sasha, the food was amazing! We could not find one thing to complain about. Texas Star Bakery prepared the cakes which were delicious as well. The parking is free after 6pm on weekdays and all day Saturday and Sunday, if you park where they tell you to park. Simple as that. There is plenty of parking and the walk across the bridge allows you a beautiful view of the canal. If you need to park in the adjoining parking garage, which is private, you can buy parking passes for the day at $5 each and they will provide directions with a map as well. Just be sure to tell the guests to park on the lower level which is Level One (not street level). Otherwise the entry doors will be locked as it is a private garage. We bought several for the dj, the coordinator, the bakery and also anyone who might need direct access due to heavy items or handicap parking as it is on the canal level with direct access to the patio and it worked out great. We were also able to carry out all of the gifts and leftover cake and accessories at the end of the evening without walking up the stairs and over the bridge. I'm not sure why anyone would leave their wedding gifts there after the ceremony as it is really not their responsibility to take care of that and they have events all during the week so if anyone did.....I would not be surprised if they got misplaced. I have always heard that no place is perfect but I have to disagree as I thought the Venetian Terrace was. For anyone reading these reviews my recommendation would be to first of all ask questions, listen to what they are telling you and take notes in case you forget. Which you will as everyone is so excited and nervous about trying to make it perfect that you sometimes forget to ask the right questions and listen to their answers. They are there to help you if you will let them. Our wedding was very simple but elegant. We let the coordinator know what we wanted and then we let her do her job. No bridezilla to be found, just a very happy bride a groom with a laid back attitude and totally appreciative of everything that was done to make their wedding a day they will never forget. Please view their website but I have to tell you that the photos do not do justice to the actual setting. It is beautiful and unlike anything else in the metroplex. Our wedding party and guests were totally amazed at the beautiful location and asked me over and over again, "How did you find this place?". The biggest compliment that you can receive from a guest is to hear that they thought your wedding was the best that they had ever been to. I agree, it was awesome. Mona, Sasha and Stephanie....thank you so much for all of your hard work. It was very much appreciated and I would highly recommend you to anyone looking for an intimate setting for a wedding or any other event.

I never seen a party go terribly wrong because the owner is so wrapped up with himself. I hope that this pig isn't married, but the Mona lady I think her name is, needs to get shot. I've never met someone who lied between her teeth.
