The re-opened restaurant has introduced some fresh additions to their menu this week. The fish tacos are a standout, with perfectly grilled, flavorful fish that is simply delectable. Growing up near this Rudy's, I have fond memories of the place under Rudy's management - the generous portions, friendly staff who knew you by name, and consistently good food. Although the quality and portion sizes have decreased since the change in ownership, the West Kimberly store remains a favorite haunt for me. While the portion sizes may be smaller than before, the food is still quite good, albeit not as exceptional as in the past. The unique charm of the West End Rudy's, with its friendly staff and delicious offerings, sets it apart from any other restaurant in the area. It may not be the most authentic Mexican food, but it is undeniably tasty. My family particularly enjoys the beef and bean burritos, beef tacos, beans and rice, tostadas, and tamales. If you find yourself in the West End, do give Rudy's a try - you can even call ahead to have your order ready for a quick pick-up.
