I would give this place a zero if I could. Their horchata was grainy. The guacamole was actually a blended avocado served over week old lettuce. The pico de gallo was not fresh. As for the tortilla chips, you can get better chips for a dollar at Dollar Tree. And don't get me started on the cheese (I think that was cheese).

Ordered food from here through grub hub in February. Food was cold, meat tasted horrid (not badly spiced/cooked but spoiled), queso sauce had a thin film on top and different colored chunks at the bottom of the pan. Los Portales 2, 1012 E. Kimberly Road, Davenport

- A Feb. 18 inspection by Scott County resulted in 10 violations being cited........Many of these were repeat violations.

9/15/17, We just finished eating there. we were sitting at 6:30 PM. There were 4 of us, we ordered 2 Frozen Margaritas and 1 Margarita on the Rocks, and 1 Large Beer. We received Chips and Salsa before we ordered our drinks. When our drinks came, they were very Citrus Flavored and didn't have any Tequila in them. We received our food shortly after. We didn't see our waiter again until we were almost done eating. One of us didn't want to pay for the Margarita, which was hardly gone. We told the Waiter that he didn't want the drink or another one, since we only drank less than 1/2 of the other Margaritas and we were leaving soon, he finally took that drink off the bill since we were done. When we went to pay, the lady at checkout, said we couldn't us the phone coupon since we didn't have 2 drinks on our bill, she wouldn't budge even when we told her how bad the Margaritas were. We normally love their Margaritas but tonight they were horrible and gave us all Heartburn from too much Citrus and Triple Sec, and no Tequila.

The restaurant was packed on Friday night. We ordered the nachos supreme as an appetizer and thought it was okay; I would make sure to request that it is hot when it arrives at the table the next time. I then ordered a taco salad and was very disappointed. The deep fried shell was cold and greasy, had minimal lettuce and an inch of beef, guacamole, and sour cream. It was not very appealing because of the thick consistency. There was not much to the salad and I chose not to eat much. My husband had steak burritos and he enjoyed his meal. We enjoyed the mariachi band and the atmosphere; the service was good. We go to this restaurant approx. 4 times a year and this is the first time I had this experience but will be back.

Went there today ordered chicken enchiladas they were very good until something poked the roof of my mouth they tried to say it was oregano i don't know what it was but it was NOT oregano and they did nothing to rectify this I WILL NOT GO BACK!
