We had Downtown Deli cater our meeting. I was not at the meeting, but worked with them to set up the luncheon. They were wonderful to work with...courteous and professional! After asking several meeting attendees their opinion of the food, they all overwhelmingly agreed that the bread was soft and delicious, the sandwiches very meaty and the cookies were wonderful! We'll definitely be using them again!

The Downtown Deli has a myriad array of sandwiches from which to choose; my favorite being the Italian beef that is served on a luscious warm roll, topped with Swiss cheese (you have your choice of cheese) and served with au jus. They have salads, and soups along with daily specials. This deli is open from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. daily and closed on Sundays. The owner has indicated that he plans on starting evening hours in the spring. They also serve breakfast and feature breakfast sandwiches and muffins. Coffee, hot cocoa and Pepsi products are served. There is a room available for meetings and small gatherings. The place has a nice, friendly atmosphere and it's quite clean. The staff is very accomodating and are anxious to please. The Downtown Deli is the best place for lunch in downtown Davenport!
