I lived close by when was 6 years old!!!!!! That was in 1963.....my grama worked there and I was only allowed to serve hot coffee, and soft drinks, plus cutlery! we lived across from the Dayton Manufacting company! on Elkton Ave.my grama was the waitress and her sister in law worked in the kitchen. We had many Air Plane Pilots, Dr's ,Attorneys, and everyday people.The atmosphere was like Home, I helped when Grama was there. The food was delicious . I recall the plates being very Hot due to the wooden tray under it. I loved being there and The manager said I could keep my tips, I was suprised to get them at a young age. I miss the great smells of the food, and the people !!!!!!!!!!!. Thank You Take care and stay Healthy!
