The American Chinese takeout at Shanghai Peking is really good. Ordering online is easy, and I pay when I pick up my food. The staff is very nice, which is a pleasant surprise for a takeout place. The sliced fish Szechuan style and beef Szechuan style were tender, the salt and pepper shrimp was plump, and the chicken fried rice was delicious. The dumplings in red chili had a thick peanut sauce, but overall, the food is tasty and the portions are good for takeout. The steamed chicken with veggies and steamed shrimp and scallops with asparagus from the healthy menu are great options for a balanced meal.
