I have to admit, I underestimated La Madeleine. The food exceeded my expectations - from the fresh bread to the flavorful soups and sandwiches. The atmosphere is charming with ample seating, a cozy fireplace, and friendly service. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the overall experience - definitely worth a visit.
