If I could give less than one star I would. My friends and I like to try different lounges to visit so we picked this spot. The place is nice and they play decent music. Because this is a primarily Ethiopian spot, there was Ethiopian music playing major of the night. You’ve maybe heard 2-5 snippets of rap and R&B songs . We ordered a hookah, that I provided my ID and credit card with. Because there was limited seating , we had our hookah on the side wall. Yet, when another customer got up from an open table we moved to that table , and the bottle girl (the one who I gave my ID and Card information, who is not of Ethiopian descent) moved our hookah to the table and cleaned it off for us. No less that 30 minutes later, a bottle girl of Ethiopian decent, grab the pipe to the Hookah WHILE my friend was holding it and stated that she need to take it. She did not ask was it ours or how did we pay with. She just assumed that we would smoke the previous customer’s Hookah which is absolutely disgusting. I am very displeases with the service that was provided here. We happen to be the only African Americans in the establishment (outside of the bouncers) and for the situation to be handled in a such an unprofessional manner , I really have a bad taste in my mouth. Needless to say, I’m assuming she asked on of the bottle girls did we pay because she never came back to “take” the hookah. She also didn’t come back to apologize as well which would have been the PROFESSIONAL thing to do. We did let OUR bottle girl know what happened and she gave us her sympathy. I did ask to speak to a manager but he/she never came (Not 100% sure if she told the manager that I would like to speak with them).The way this situation was handled by the Ethiopian bottle girl was very discriminatory and unprofessional. My friends and I will definitely not attend this lounge anymore.
