THIS IS A FRUADLANT, RIP-OFF PLACE. RUN AWAY AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE OR GET READY FOR SURPRISES OF YOUR LIFE WITH EXPLICIT LIES AND DECIET.

This is my personal account and experience about a mistake that I mad e and will regret for a long time when I booked the banquet hall. It is a FRAUD and RIPOFF business and these people are there to rip you off as much as they can. I have NEVER experienced such LIARS and DECEPTIVE businesses as this one. I reserved this banquet hall for my son's graduation party for the week (06/23/2013). The banquet manager (Mr. Dilawar, if he is the real manger??) is a classic example of a "used car salesman" and their “bait and switch” tactics. I paid top dollars for the party reservation and yet got totally ripped off by this business and received lousy service.
I have all the paperwork to prove as how this manager went back and forth on menu selection and kept changing it and raising the final price. When I made my reservation for the party on 04/06/2013; he showed us their "standard" menu. There were few items that were not on the menu so I asked him to swap few items on the menu with other items that I would like to have on my menu. He told me that it would cost more money and I agreed to pay another additional $1,000 to compensate the changes in the menu. When I signed the contract, he assured that there will not any other charges and I thought that everything was settled. I paid a deposit in advance as he demanded for it.
I called Dilawar in May 2013 to make sure that everything was on track, to my surprise he told me that he will not be able to accommodate the changes in the menu (for which I already paid over $1,000) extra as their restaurant's kitchen don't make the dishes and he would need to get these dishes prepared from outside and it would cost me more (classic and sleazy bait and switch tactic). Obviously I was disappointed and I asked him that I wanted to meet the owner of the business. After many calls, he finally gave me the name of the owner as Hasheem Abbassi (supposedly). I went to the banquet hall to meet Mr. Abbassi and to straighten the things out. The owner assured me as not to worry about anything and he promised me that I will NOT be charged any extra money than what was already agreed upon and for what I contracted for.
Once again I made yet another mistake by believing the owner and taking his words as promise and word of honor. I should have asked for a sworn statement from the owner and should never have taken his words.
Only two days before the scheduled party, the manager called me and demanded that I needed to pay all of the leftover balance in full and worst in CASH on that very same day OR he threatened me to cancel my reservation. I was furious, angry but ye nervous as all of the invitations were gone out, there were literally two days left and I had to deal with this. He also told me that the decorations (i.e. table/chair covers) would cost me extra for which he already agreed that the decoration items were included in the agreed upon contract price. I asked him to let me speak to the owner (Abbassi) and he told me that Abassi went to Afghanistan for a month and is not available.
I was in a really in very awkward position as I didn't have any other choice other than just to go along with his outrageous demands as I just wanted to enjoy my son's party and also let my guests to have good time as well at the party. So I had to rush and arranged cash to pay him. This time I took time and prepared a written addendum to the original contract and clearly spelled out every detail of the event, such menu items, cost involved and amount paid. I paid him everything in cash in full including extra charges for decorations and made him signed the addendum.
Still there were more shocking things stored for me in this ordeal. On the day of the event (06/23/2013) when we arrived at the banquet hall, it was raining. The entire ceiling of the hall was leaking and water was dropping all over the place and they have placed cheap plastic containers to collect the doping water all over. The chairs were wet and I pointed it out to Dilawar and he said that there wasn't much he could do about it. Here I was feeling completely helpless and cheated out as I already had paid him in full in cash, my guest s were started to arrive and I didn't have any other choice to be polite/quite about this craziness.
I had reserved the hall and paid for 200 guests. On that day only 125 (including kids) showed up for the party and yet the food was NOT enough and it got short, especially the items for which I paid extra money for. I felt insulted as I paid to receive full services for 200 people and they didn’t adequately serve even only 150 people. When I complained about it to the manager he said that because the items were “outsourced” from another place therefore he didn’t have much control over it. Overall it was frustrating and embarrassing experience as I had some guests who didn’t get all the items that were supposed to be on the menu.
I am writing this review to warn other people NOT to get lured and get ripped off by this fraudulent and sleazy business.

Went with 7 people for lunch on New Year's Day.
The manager was serving as the only waiter today and was horrible.
When we paid the bill he said the tip was included, but then ADDED a 40 % tip behind the register. When confronted he said it was a "holiday" special rate, which he had not mentioned at all, nor was it displayed anywhere on the menu or restaurant.
The service was so bad, I wouldn't have even given a tip, but was forced to pay almost more than half the bill!!!!!!!!
Never going again and would warn others to avoid as well.
