The afternoon tea experience at Peacock Alley in the Intercontinental and Waldorf hotels offers an elegant ambiance with beautiful decor, live harp music, and a wide variety of teas that make for a truly special occasion. While the savory bites and finger sandwiches are delicious and creatively presented, some pastries and desserts fall short of expectations, and service can occasionally be slow or inconsistent. Despite a few drawbacks, the overall atmosphere and unique tea selections create a memorable and enjoyable visit that I would gladly return to.
