Had brunch with a friend last Sunday and I really miss this neighborhood favorite. The service was awesome, the food was comforting, and I can't wait to go back for that amazing cinnamon roll French toast and the chí¨vre omelet!

As a past employee of B&C and now retired and living in Florida I am quick to tell everyone that is going to the Washington, D.C. area, you must go to B&C for the BEST food and deserts. My fondest memories are the days I worked for B&C and the many great friends I met while working with the Owners and staff.

Sunday brunch is relaxing, you can take your time eating, socializing and sipping coffee. I have been twice for brunch and tried different items, everything was great. We have also been several times just to get something sweet and drink coffee. Wonderful place.

At Sunday brunch, the spinach and chevre omelette had almost no chevre and was served partially raw and runny. The service was surly. Coffee refills were slow, when we could manage to get them. The pastry basket was nice. It might be worth going if you stick to baked goods and other foods that do not need to be freshly prepared.
