Murph’s is a neighborhood bar that has been around for over 15 years. It has a history in Wilmington, Delaware. It has changed names over the years and first was named the Horse & Buggy, then The Buggy Tavern which started in a location 3 miles up Marsh Road before changing to Murph’s Irish Pub. We have been called a dive bar, sports bar, and local watering hole. But throughout all the changes we have always maintained a solid group of Customers, regulars, and some very well-known Delawareans. Murph’s has maintained and gained new customers due to our reputation of good food, cold beers, and amazing staff. But most of all we are a family, the MIP Family!!! You could say a lot like CHEERS where everyone knows your name sooner or later.

Walking into Murph's Irish Pub for the first time, I was immediately welcomed by the warm, lively atmosphere and the friendly bartender who made me feel right at home despite being a stranger. The handmade crab cakes were a revelation, perfectly seasoned and generous with lump crab, while the laid-back vibe, affordable drinks, and engaging locals made it the ideal place to unwind after a long day.

I discovered Murph's on my last night on the East Coast, and it quickly became a favorite. The welcoming atmosphere, delicious handmade crab cakes, and attentive service from Heather made my experience memorable, reminding me that great food is enhanced by friendly faces.

Gave last call to 2 other people but when I asked for it 3 minutes after making their shots, I got denied. Must not be a regular for them. Both bartenders on Thursdays are totally arogant.
