I wandered into a small, colorful ice cream shop tucked away on South Federal, where the air was filled with the sweet aroma of freshly made paletas and mangoliadas. The Tres Maria, a trio of coconut, Gansito, and an unbelievably rich vanilla ice cream crowned with strawberry sauce and whipped cream, transported me to a place of pure indulgence. Surrounded by friendly locals and the vibrant energy of this family-run spot, I savored every bite while practicing my Spanish and soaking in the warmth of Northern Mexican tradition.
