In 1980 I spent some time in Philadelphia and became aware of how delicious cheese steak sandwiches are. For the last 43 years I have been trying philly cheese steak sandwiches at restaurants and nothing even came close to the original Philadelphia deliciousness ... until today. I had a philly roll at Nonna's and it is absolutely unbelievable. This is as close to an actual Philadelphia cheese steak as you can get without getting on a plane.
