Celebrating our 40th anniversary here was a wonderful experience thanks to the clean, elegant atmosphere and attentive, knowledgeable staff who made us feel welcome and well cared for throughout the meal. The food exceeded expectations, with perfectly cooked prime rib and flavorful dishes like the Italian sausage stuffed mushrooms, complemented by friendly service that enhanced the overall enjoyable dining experience.

We stopped on our way home to Omaha. We have eaten a few times in Omaha and have had good meals. This one in Altoona was not! We received our salad after our food was delivered. Waitress didn't say anything about them being delivered after the food. We both had pasta, and it was barely warm. Would not recommend this Johnny Steakhouse!!

The atmosphere is beautiful
The food is delicious
The portions are great
But our waitress was phenomenal

I have visited this restaurant a few times but this weekend I had my birthday dinner at this location and I had the worst customer service ever. They've treated my guest like sh*t!! they had me and my girls waiting outside in heels while waiting for everyone to arrive mind you; I called a week early to make reservations and contacted them 30 minutes before arriving.
The server was literally talking sh*t the whole time making me look so bad in front of my family and friends for picking out this 5-star restaurant but never again!!!
The food was undercooked... the stake was literally bleeding, the potato was super dry, my lobster mac and cheese was so watery, I couldn't even enjoy my birthday meal. They wanted to charge me $3 per serving for people to eat the cake I got as a gift!!
Management is also TRASH
