Hello,
I usually gather a group of folks together to order from the Potato Place, from our place of employment at least 4-5 times a year. We normally, as a group spend anywhere from $300.00 to $500.00 in orders. A few times we have had a few mistakes but because we love your restaurant we don’t complain and appreciate that you come as far as you do to our place of employment. However, we would think that would work both ways as far as appreciation.
When I place orders with Potato Place, I always place the orders on a Monday evening and request from your restaurant for totals on Thursday and delivery on Friday. The driver is always on time as well as I always make sure I have money ready and we always tip the driver. We have never had any issues up until today.
I placed our company order 9/21/2015 and faxed over the order form 9/22/2015. I advised the young lady whom was very nice that I would like totals Thursday 9/24 and would call for them. In return she advised that was accomplishable. Thursday mid-morning I contacted Potato Place and requested totals, which were given to me iao $298.00. That total did not include delivery or gratuity which added an additional $44.00 to the grand total. I then started my collection process here at our office and gathered everyone money for the delivery set on 9/25/2015. I contacted Potato Place Friday morning 9/25/15 and confirmed the delivery time would be 12PM-12:30PM, which was confirmed correct. Upon the young woman confirming the delivery time, I was advised that I was going to receive a call from her around 11AM as there was an issue with my bill.

continued; The young woman advised the bill was recalculated Friday morning and appeared that I was to add a few more dollars to the total as I was quoted the incorrect amount on Thursday. I told the young woman that I had already collected staff members money and it wouldn’t be anywhere near right for me to go back to them and request they each additionally add another .75 cents that they owed. The young woman said she was sorry but it was only a couple more dollars and that the girl that did the calculation didn’t recheck her math. Again I told the young woman, because it was unfair to ask these people to give me more money, I would have to add an additional 4 bucks to the bill and that wouldn’t be fair to me as I would be paying 18.00 for my noodles that I ordered. The young woman advised “yeah, I know and so sorry about that, it’s only a few more dollars, it should have been calculated before gratuity and delivery and it wasn’t…again sorry… your new total is $344.50.
With a well ran business, it is very commonly known to keep customers satisfied and wanting customers to continue to patronize your company. The business decision that the young lady made on the phone, to collect the additional 4 bucks, (that was in reference to her mistake) made it very clear that our business is not appreciated.
