The dinner last night was incredible, starting with a house-made sourdough bread packed with grains that rival anything I've had abroad, paired with seasonal butter that was simple but satisfying. The twice-cooked egg salad was a standout, featuring a perfectly fried poached egg atop flavorful Brussels sprouts, and the pork chop accompanied by collard greens, grits, and cornbread was so filling I had to take leftovers home. From the attentive service keeping my glass full to the vibrant, chartreuse-painted interior and creative cocktails, the whole experience was memorable and worth the extra drive into the city.
