I ate here due to positive recommendations and reputation. Ordered a lamb burger, Med Rare, and a glass of wine. It came with "twice cooked" fries. Sounds crispy, right? After about 25 minutes I got a 1" thick (with bun), well done burger lacking some of the listed ingredients. The fries were completely limp and floppy. I asked the server for more fries that were crispy and she said "that's the way they make them".
I had a big glass of Chanti that was a fruitless, big, one note glass of tannins. I've owned a wine bar, and this was not a decent glass of Chanti.
Then... the bill. I only tipped 15% due to slow service, food that wasn't hot and her not providing me with a wine list. She just rattled off what they served by the glass. It came to $64.00 for a sub-par, thin, overcooked burger, soggy fries and a $28.00!!!!! glass of wine. The bottle retails for $24.00!
I have photos of the burger and fries, but don't know how to post them here.
Baaaaaaad experience that just left me feeling pissed off.
