Every time I return to my hometown, I make it a point to visit Al Mawal, a cherished local eatery where the portions are generous and the food bursts with authentic Arabic flavors. It's not unusual to bump into family members there, also drawn by the delicious shawarma, tikka, and kafta kabobs, and the warm, welcoming staff that make you feel right at home.
