Growing up near here I remember my dad always coming here around Christmas time and getting many pastries and cakes from this bakery. It was simply the best and I remember he use to specifically get what he called "Belgium Square" cakes that were between 4"-5" in square cakes that were layered and filled with either apricot or strawberry filling between, white frosted with peanuts around each corner. My father past this last February and ever since this bakery had closed I've been searching for the exact name of these cakes a recipe and/or a bakery I could find them again...if anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it. Thank you.
