We have ordered from Hugos for 24 years, they are prompt, the food is good, especially the Lasagna & Philly Cheesesteak sandwich & they are very generous portions. Have never gotten sick from eating there. will continue to order from and recommend them.

Not one to complain but when calling during business hours, phone wouldn’t be answered once and then I’d call back and it would be busy. Ongoing for 30 minute period

The food itself taste good, even though the prices are a little too high for what you get. What I don't like is the fact that they are very unclean in the kitchen. One example is when I ordered a sub to pick up. The guy that I was waiting on to make the sub was in the bathroom, smoking cigarettes. Afterwords he went straight to making the sandwich, liking his fingers, never washing his hands and no gloves. He was also making a pizza bare handed too. It was disgusting. I have also heard of case's and myself in times of getting ill after eating their food before I witnessed this. Well, now I know why and will not ever buy from them again without the intention of wanting a trip to the ER.

Its a pity. The food taste great, but its not worth your health as its a disgusting practice they have.

This pizza at Hugo's is pretty good, plus they have a large menu with all kinds of subs and sandwiches. There is something here for everyone in our family, which is why we like it. Plus the food is always spot-on.

Stopped for a late lunch on our way home from Duluth. Server said subs and sandwiches were the fastest so we went with that. .Party of 9 and we were in and out in good time. The food was wonderful! A large sub could feed a family of four easily! Giant on taste as well as portions.

AMAZING EVERYTHING ON THE MENU.I RECOMMEND THE PIZZAS, SUBS, CHEESY FRIES, LASAGNA, AND MINI TACOS. THOSE ARE MY FAVORITES!!!!!

You guys should be ashamed of yourselves for complaining of Prices/Service/Delivery...... WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT ?!?!?!? The food is ALWAYS made for the Fat guy in mind - Shouldnt even be allowed to call them "portions" - more like a shovel full of goody good goods....!!!!!!! where else are you going to find a 3 pound sub for $8-$13 Bucks ????? The Cheesy or Pizza fries will put you to bed............ Fit for any weight watching cheaters out there or anyone looking to maintain that Phenominal phigure like myself !!!!!!!!!!

Delivery was quicker than expected (told 45min.; received in under 30min.) proportions are MORE than generous!! Ordered a large sub for two; had enough left for our lunch the next day! Suck it scrub way 😆

I love hugos! They may not be so quick to deliver but they are the only ones in this area that do... With that said they have amazing food and great prices!

Jack, I agree. Hugo's is amazing and the portions are huge. For the price, you can't go wrong. That being said, representing Hugo's with the name calling is not helpful to anyone.

Horrible service. Took an hour and a half to get an order of appetizers and shrimp basket delivered a few blocks away. Once we received it, it was missing correct dipping sauces and was over deep fried. Way over priced for unsatisfactory food.

When my fiance and I moved to West Duluth we were excited to be in the delivery zone for Hugo's...that changed quickly. The last three times we've ordered haven't been real impressive. The last time we ordered which will be the last time we even consider them again was horrible. Not only did we wait over and hour and a half for a couple cheeseburgers...upon calling to see the status of the delivery, the female provided no apology and instead an "it's on the way," CLICK. When our food finally did arrive it was obvious it had sat out way too long. Coleslaw and dips made to be cold were as warm as soup, onion rings and french fries were soggy and the cheeseburgers were distgusting. We will never be ordering from Hugo's again.
