Went for a fresh Turkey on Easter was under the impression it's butcher quality, but once I had paid with my credit card on line thinking I'd better pre pay to save this bird. The guy tells me just so you know they are not from the Hutterites I'm thinking okay well they have to be pretty good I assume. My husband gets there and it's 11.5 lb bird from lilydale. I paid $50.82 for. Worth 26$ at Safeway. Left feeling silly and ripped off ..... I tried to call the shop to ask why such the mark up to get no clear answer,
it's a shame as I support local and I drove from Edmonton to be disappointed. I suggest you go to sandyview farms for top notch butcher and service. And besides the quality's 10 times better for cheaper.
