I always buy my taco shells from this place when I'm in a rush to prepare a big family dinner with tacos. The convenience and quality of the shells really make the meal delicious. The tamales here are exceptional, almost as good as homemade, with a great balance of flavors, but the cash-only policy was a downside for me.

The BEST tamales ever!!! Moved away from El Paso in 1998, would visit parents and always loaded up on the red tamales and at least 1 dozen cheese and jalapeño. Last time in EP was 2015 and surprised the ladies as ordered 12 dozen to be frozen and picked up on way out of town a couple of days later and took 3 dozen that day. Wish they would open a store in San Antonio, tamales here are small pasty stuff in thin masa.

I member my Mom (Felipa) sending me out to get 50lb of masa back in the 80's..good memories. Lived on Magnolia st.🙂 God is One.

My Mom, Ramona, used their masa to make her great tamales back in 1959. Best tamales in El Paso after Ramona's (rest in peace). Their masa is perfection as is the filling. Tostadas are great. But the persons working at La Rotativa are courteous and friendly.
