After a couple of weeks traveling in the southwest, I've had my fair share of Mexican food, but nothing has compared to what I found just outside Fabens at Nena's. Maria Elena, the owner, served up some of the spiciest salsa I've tasted, along with delicious enchiladas that reminded me of home, all at a price that was hard to beat. The vibe inside felt warm and inviting, like stepping into a family gathering, and it turned out to be the perfect stop on our journey.
